The sudden windstorm dropped a limb through the roof and ruptured a water line that drenched the corridor of the Cape Coral Hotel. We wet vacuumed up moist of the standing water and then removed this commercial grade carpeting to another location for drying. We managed to salvage the baseboards and drywall below the chair railing with our fast action. The padding was not water damaged extensively due to the nature of the carpet fabric. This was dried with our air movers and dehumidifiers. We reinstalled the carpeting several days later with minimal disruption to the hotel guests.
